AVP-Management Reporting

One of the most prestigious banks in New York is looking to add to their senior officer staff, a candidate who will analyze and produce management reports on a consolidated level to senior functional management and the President of the Bank. The candidate will manage a staff of ten analysts who will need direction and development of more specific and value-added analysis of monthly results. This position has been created specifically to attract outside talent who will bring a fresh perspective to the financial group and who will move quickly to assume other responsibilities in various areas of the finance organization. Our client is offering a base salary range of 150K-175K.




Requirements: The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience working with senior level business managers and will possess strong management and leadership experiences which they can pass on to junior staff. The candidate will be responsive to ad-hoc requests for additional information which can come from the senior leadership in the organization or colleagues and other senior staff throughout the branching organization. An advanced degree is highly desirable. The candidate must have worked in a financial institution for at least 5 years and be familiar with operational and investment banking products, particularly fixed income securities, cash management products, and credit products. A CPA in lieu of an MBA would be an attractive substitute for the educational requirements.
