AVP, Product Development

 

Position Summary:  This position is responsible for developing newALT-A and Subprime programs, updating existing programs, writing program guidelines and managing a group who will perform this function.

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Develop new ALT-A and Subprime programs.  Update existing product guidelines/summaries.  Research Investor guidelines to monitor competitiveness of our programs.  Perform risk analysis and identify different LTV/CLTV, qualifying ratios, credit scores, and underwriting differences of Investors. Create product parameter comparison charts as warranted. Manage a group that will perform the above functions. 

 

 Knowledge and Skills:Minimum of4 years Product Development experience in ALT-A/Subprime programs.  Position requires a strong working knowledge of mortgage programsfocusing on ALT-A and Subprime lending.Underwriting experience is a plus.  4 Year College Degree required. Working knowledge of Word and Excel.  Candidate must be detailed oriented with strong writing skills.  Must be self-sufficient with the ability to work well under deadlines and manage multiple projects and tasks.
