Accountant I (Fixed Asset)

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION:
? Ensure proper accounting for all capital and fixed asset transactions; including pricing, transfers, write-offs and additions.

? Ensure proper accounting between Expense and Capital and that minimum capitalization limits are adhered to by corporate policy.

? Reconcile activity to analyze changes in balances and ensure G/L balances are properly supported. ?
? Prepare annually and requested PBU depreciation forecasts.

? Prepare capital spending tracking reports and review actual and forecasted spending by project with E&M manager each period.

? Complete quarterly Sox compliance test scripts and ensure proper documentation exists to support a pass rating.

? Complete annually the self assessment templates for fixed assets.

? Coordinate annual fixed assets inventory and ensure physical inventory is completed per corporate policy and procedures.

? Ensure adherence to PepsiCo and QTG ?Financial Policy and Control procedures.

? Active participation in Annual Operating Plan process, audits, cross training, and projects as needed.

? Proficiency in Excel and ability to learn new applications;

? Strong organization and communication skills;

? Ability to work independently or as part of a team;

? Strong analytical skills and process improvement orientation;

? Ability to view big picture as well as handle specific detailed transactions;

? Strong desire to produce results


PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
? Bachelor s Degree in Accounting or Finance;

? 1-2 years Accounting experience
