Responsibilities:

Provide support to insure accurate and timely financial reporting. This includes responsibility for monthly journal entries, complex account reconciliations, analytical review and research into unusual fluctuations, and participation in the various accounting cycles.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and post journal entries as assigned.

2. Prepare complex balance sheet account reconciliations in a high volume environment.

3. Apply GAAP and business logic to financial statements and accounts.

4. 4. Perform accounting research as needed and recognize potential problems.

5. Provide analysis of Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts as assigned.

6. Participate in the accounting cycles and meet stringent deadlines.

7. Recommend changes in methods or procedures to improve the efficiency.

8. Solve problems while handling multiple assignments.

9. Engage in the responsibilities of planning, evaluating, organizing and processing improvements and controls.

10. Handle unusual or difficult inquiries/situations through either direct personal action or referrals to the appropriate individual.

11. Liaison with Operating Divisions (Regional Controllers, General Managers, etc.).

12. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting.

Experience: Five (5) years of directly related experience.

Skills: Strong communication and written skills. Familiarity with financial accounting systems. Strong computer skills with strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Access. Prefer Hyperion Essbase Experience.
