Accounting - Technical Manager

This person contributes to The Pepsi Bottling Group’s success by interpreting and implementing technical accounting and financial reporting requirements for the company.

 

Major Tasks, Key Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:
Knowledge in the technical areas of share-based compensation, derivatives, acquisitions, variable interests entities, impairment, foreign currency, equity transactions and SEC reporting.
Ensuring accounting policies are updated to conform to new accounting standards.
Partner with various groups (i.e. treasury, legal, planning, tax) to ensure the company is up to date on the latest interpretations and changing requirements.
Act as primary liaison with the external audit team to ensure compliance with regulations.
Effectively communicate new accounting requirements in a timely fashion.



 

 

Basic Job Qualifications
Bachelors degree required in Accounting or Finance
A minimum of 3 years of Accounting, Audit or Finance experience
CPA certification


Preferred Job Qualifications
A minimum of 7 years of technical accounting experience
