Accounts Payable Manager

This role is critical to ensuring overall compliance to: regulatory requirements, company policies, and departmental procedures. The chosen candidate will be responsible for meeting accounts payable financial standards by providing monthly review of budget to actual information; monitoring expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions and meeting accounts payable operational standards by contributing AP information to strategic plans and reviews; identifying system improvements; implementing productivity and efficiency initiatives, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving disputes. The Manager of Accounts Payable will also be responsible for accomplishing the AP objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; and recommending compensation actions; complying with all internal control procedures to ensure accurate financial records, particularly in relation to capital investments; and adhering to contractual payment terms to ensure smooth operation of the business while maximizing cash flow.

A Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Business or related field and a minimum five years of AP management experience and a minimum three years of accounting experience are required. Strong analytical and organization skills; effective verbal and written communication skills; and SAP experience preferred.
