Acquisitions Analyst

Ferrellgas is the second largest propane company in the United States and third largest propane company in the world. Our annual revenues also rank us among the top 10 companies in the Kansas City area. We are seeking an Acquisition Analyst at our Overland Park, KS location.

 

Under general direction, this position conducts due diligence activities related to potential acquisition candidates. The incumbent is responsible for preparing proposal materials, coordinating post acquisition integration, and providing financial analysis.  Typically requires a Bachelor?s level degree in Finance or Accounting and 2-5 years related work experience. 

 

Responsibilities:
Performs and coordinates acquisition due diligence
Investigates acquisition leads
Prepares acquisition proposal materials
Modeling and valuation of potential acquisition candidates
Coordinates post acquisition integration
Maintains various  acquisition data bases
Performs ad-hoc financial analysis

 

Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree in a Finance or Accounting
2-4 years of strong financial analysis experience
Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical and organizational skills
CPA preferred
