Acquisitions Specialist

Key Role: Support planning, executing, and monitoring system acquisition activities for Booz Allen Hamilton’s defense clients. Assist with service and contract hardware acquisition management and the planning and executing of all life-cycle actions and documentation related to acquisitions requirements and automated systems for tracking and monitoring acquisition status, funding, implementation, and close-out. Evaluate procurement strategies planning and execute procurement life-cycle action. Provide program management and service contract management support. Develop acquisition documentation and use automated systems for tracking and monitoring acquisitions status. Collaborate with a variety of teams to identify business opportunities, respond to RFP’s, and participate in capture efforts. Work closely with Booz Allen leaders to develop, recommend, and implement sound acquisition processes, techniques, and procedures for new programs and conduct problem analysis and assessment for existing programs.



Basic Qualifications:


-7+ years of experience with federal acquisition


-Experience in the federal business environment


-Knowledge of Microsoft Office


-Ability to prepare formal documents


-BA or BS degree


 


Additional Qualifications:


-Possession of excellent client handling skills
-BA or BS degree in Finance, Business, Management, or a related field
-DAWIA Level I, II, or III Certification preferred
