Summary:

The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to personnel within the Defined Benefits department.  This individual performs a variety of tasks to include: gathering information/data, maintaining files, scheduling appointments/meetings, producing correspondence and otherwise relieving management and professional personnel of minor administrative and business details.

 

Requirements:

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required; additional business school associate's degree is a plus;

- Minimum 1-2 years experience providing administrative/secretarial support; experience in a financial services or retirement services industry would be a plus;

- Experience in answering incoming calls;

- Excellent oral and written communication skills;  

- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel and Power Point 

- Ability to prepare general business correspondence (letters and memos)

- Detail oriented and analytical skills are essential
