-Coordinate budgets and forecasts of affiliate volumes and trade spending.
-Determine and post accounting entries to properly reflect trade spending expenses and liabilities by customer, program and product. Examples include local and headquarters marketing and rebate programs.
-Assist Senior Financial Analyst in generating payments against contractual distributor obligations, including shelter and marketing accrual payments.
-Support development of distributor profitability analysis and ensure it is based on complete and accurate data on an ongoing basis.
-Distribute Sysco RDC variable spending into operating company components via month-end analysis and journal entries.
-Monitor and analyze cash spending (57 Drafts and deductions) posted to trade spending for accurate accounting distribution and spending control issues.
-Coordinate monthly spending review with Affiliate Marketing, Sales and Finance.
-Write 57 Drafts for trade promotions based on properly approved, adequate documentation of customer performance.
-Prepare and issue weekly volume, rate, mix analyses with analysis and explanations of significant variances to latest forecast.

-Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance is required.
-Strong analytical skills
-Previous experience with marketing accounting is preferred.
-2 years of Accounting or Finance experience is required;
-Excellent written and verbal communications skills are a necessity.
-The incumbent must also possess strong Microsoft Access and Excel knowledge
-A strong process focus and attention to detail are required.
