Analyst, Sales Finance

World Kitchen is a global leader in the manufacture and distribution of non-electric consumer housewares. Our well known brands include CorningWare?, Pyrex?, Corelle?, Revere Ware?, Ekco? Kitchenware, Baker?s Secret?, OLFA?, and Chicago Cutlery?. We are currently seeking a Analyst, Sales Finance, for our Rosemont, IL office.

 Provide timely, accurate and relevant information on customer profitability, key sales metrics and project performance.  Provide comparison against established targets and prior performance.

? Support Sales Leaders in development new and existing sales and program opportunities to enhance customer volume and profitability.  Provide analysis on the financial impact of programs, and recommendations improve profitability. 

Analyze customer / channel performance to identify and summarize trends and exceptions.  Summarize financial and metric data for Sale Leaders to identify issues.

? Support the sales closing process by reporting on sales and trade commitments v. established targets, summarizing key variances and identify situations where sales is not in compliance with company policies and reconcile accounts in a timely manner

? Support sales with review of customer program and agreements, providing guidance on correct process for review and approval of agreements, analysis on the financial impact of programs, competitive proposals and escalation of exceptions to policy.

? Generate, summarize and deliver analysis

? Support key HHP sales and trade program planning processes (Annual Plan, Mid Yr FC, LTP) by working with key sales partners to develop sales and trade plans to achieve communicated targets and deadlines and highlighting key variances and issuesIdentify gaps in controls recommend additional control metrics and activities

? Raise organizational awareness of financial impact of decisions and corporate policy

 

Experience & Education Needed

BS in Finance or Accounting3+ years financial analysis experience including Consumer products experience preferredTrade / retail program experienceRevenue recognition exposureExperience developing analysis and forecasting toolsExcel power userStrong communications skillsPresent financial information to non-financial managers and influence decisionsDemonstrated team work skillsSAP experience preferred
