Assistant Credit Manager
Job Description: This is a newly created position to assist the regional credit managers. The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Responsibilities:
Facilitate the follow-up of clients based on various Accounts Receivable (AR) factors
clients with large Bad Debt Reserve
uncollected invoices greater than 180 days old
unbilled charges greater than 90 days old
outstanding advanced billing credits/deferred revenue
Run queries to assist in the financial reporting of the firm?s receivables (AR reporting, internal monthly worklists, Treasury report).
Manage the receivable portfolio of various business areas/regions under the guidance of the Credit Managers.
Perform billing and collection seminars in market locations through office visits or sametime sessions.
Participate in bankruptcy proceedings to ensure timely filing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree in Finance, Accounting or other business disciplines desirable/preferred
A minimum of 3 years business experience
Strong interpersonal skills
Familiarity with spreadsheet database applications (access, brio)
