Assistant Payroll Manager

We currently seek an Assistant Payroll Manager to join our team at the University Park, Illinois facility.

In this position, you will assist in managing the Payroll department, oversee the consolidation of Safety Products Group (domestic) into University Park?s Payroll Center of Excellence, complete monthly sales and use tax-reporting requirements and payroll-related account reconciliations.  Prepare Cognos-generated financial statements, creates Ultipro custom reports as required.

 The successful candidate will have the following:

 

?  Bachelor degree (preferably in Accounting or Finance).

 

?  Minimum three years experience. 

 

?  Prior supervisory experience preferred.

 

?  Proficient in general ledger applications and knowledge of payroll taxes and systems.
