Overview
US Market Neutral is seeking an Assistant Portfolio Manager to support the team's management of the Small Cap Long Short strategy as well as continue to support the research and development of model improvements and portfolio design improvements that are the key to the growth of the strategy. The person filling this position will help manage the investment process under the guidance of the lead Small Cap Long Short portfolio manager as well contribute to the fulfillment of the strategy's research agenda.

Responsibilities
Develop strong understanding of the daily portfolio management process Build relationships with other teams supporting the portfolio management process, including operations, client communication and compliance/regulatory teams Conduct daily review of key inputs to the investment process – holdings, alphas, trade orders and executions. Build an understanding of the strategies strength and weaknesses across the signal spectrum. Analyze discretionary corporate actions and recommend appropriate actions Review fund guidelines responding to compliance, regulatory, client administration and other similar communications Support senior team members in the group's activities including investment process design, signal research, portfolio analysis, performance attribution, trade list review and implementation
