Associate - Healthcare Investment Banking

We are currently in search of an Associate to support a growing Healthcare Investment Banking team, supported by a tremendous Healthcare Research Group in Chicago.  Previous Healthcare experience is desired, and investment banking experience is preferred but not required. As a key member of this team, the Associate will be involved with all aspects of the deal - and coach and mentor the Analyst staff.

 

Specifically we are looking for an individual who has relevant Healthcare industry experience ? who, if not an investment banker, is currently at a strategic consulting firm working in the Healthcare practice or with a Healthcare or Medical Device company as a Financial Analyst in Corporate Development. Candidate experience, skill set and core competencies include:
? Relevant work experience in Healthcare
? Scholastic Achievement with an MBA from a top school desired
? Pride in a work product, with a demonstration of focus and motivation ? and the desire to achieve and excel
? Business Acumen and the ability to look at the big picture, while having attention to detail
? Personal presence and outstanding interpersonal skills
? A strong work ethic, with the ability to defer to the accomplishments of a team versus personal promotion
