Associate Tax Consultant - Property Tax

Our Phoenix office is seeking to fill an Associate Tax Consultant opening in our Property Tax Division.  As an Associate Tax Consultant with DMA, you will be part of a growing team whose dedication and focus is delivering quality service and forming lasting partnerships with our Fortune 2000 client base.  Associate Tax Consultants assist our property tax division in the preparation and filing of annual property tax returns, collection of tax bills, verification of assessments, and documentation of audit files.  You will complete Fixed Asset reviews as well as collect comparable property data, determining how the client is reporting their assets, identifying possible reclassifications or exemptions, and determining how the property is being assessed.  Additional responsibilities include preparing a draft version of Report of Findings, performing independent inspection of assets and facilities, preparing assessment calculations from returns and entering data using Microsoft Excel, Word and Access. 

 

If you would like to begin a career with DMA and meet the noted qualifications, we would like to hear from you.  Job requires a bachelor?s degree with a major in Accounting, Finance or Economics.  Prior work experience is a benefit but not mandatory.  Technical skills include moderate to advanced level MS Word and Excel.  Experience working with Access or FoxPro will be a plus.  Some travel to client locations is required.
