BILLING SUPERVISOR - POST PRODUCTION

Modern VideoFilm, Inc., a major television & motion picture post-production company headquartered in Burbank, CA is adding to our staff of 500 dedicated employees.  We currently have an opening for a POST-PRODUCTION BILLING SUPERVISOR in the Finance Department at our office located near Universal City. 

 

The position reports to the Billing Manager and will supervise the operations of our 4 person billing department.  Responsibilities include daily supervision of staff, preparation of rate tables for each service charged to a customer, and review of all invoices to make sure the proper rate was charged.  This position requires a detail oriented individual with excellent analytical and communication skills.  The individual must have a background in accounting, be self-motivated, intelligent, and able to solve problems in a fast paced environment.  Key skills include: Excel spreadsheet, MS Word, and general experience with operational MIS systems.  This is a great opportunity to join an entertainment industry leader and make a contribution to our continued success.

Knowledge/Skills

?  Operations knowledge of billing and invoicing with multiple rate cards and contracts

?  Understanding of operational computer systems and administrative procedures

?  Excellent  oral and written communication skills

?  Ability to multi-task while paying close attention to detail

?  Maintain a professional attitude while working in a fast paced environment

?  Knowledge of Excel and MS Office

 

Responsibilities & Duties

?  Review completed jobs and insure that line item charges are correct

?  Prepare invoices for customers

?  Resolve issues and customer disputes

?  Communicate customer issues and problems to Sales and Operations departments.

?  Create and prepare Excel reports on a timely basis

?  Support the finance department with month-end reports

 

Experience/Education

?  2 years of department and personnel supervision preferred

?  Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred

?  Background in Post-Production required
