Analysts work closely in a team environment with Managing Directors, Directors, Vice Presidents, Associates and other Analysts.


 


The EM Client Strategy Analyst performs a central role in the development, implementation, and communication of Emerging Markets Corporate Banking (EMCB) client strategy and business initiatives.


 


The Client Strategy Analyst will support the Client Strategy and Management team on a range of initiatives, managing multiple tasks within specified deadlines.  The tasks typically involve


1) Measuring business performance by geography, industry, and client segment


2) Strategizing how to improve performance and lower risk across sectors


3) Developing messaging to concisely convey business performance to senior management


4) Producing compelling presentations on current state and future strategy of business


5) Completing additional, ad hoc client management projects as they develop


 


This is a strategy-based, business-focused role.  The CS Analyst will work with EMCB management with a vision to build the leading client-focused franchise in Citigroup.  It represents a superior opportunity for a motivated individual seeking a position of influence and high-level perspective while working within a small team.





To assist and support members of the Client Strategy & Management team in:


? Measuring business and client performance by geography, industry, and client segment


? Developing strategy to improve performance and lower risk across segments


? Preparing briefing materials for senior EM management, highlighting EMCB business franchise


? Delivering timely and accurate reports to business and divisional management


Completing additional client management projects as they develop

? Minimum 1 year work experience (post graduation)


? Knowledge of accounting and finance concepts


Experience of analyzing data and numerical modeling


 


? Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills

Ability to work efficiently within a team environments and as an individual contributor
Strong communication skills (both written & verbal) at all organizational levels


Ability to efficiently plan and organize own workload within tight deadlines
