Billing Supervisor

We are currently looking for a qualified Billing Supervisor to join our Federal Sales Finance team at our Herndon, VA office.

This position is responsible for the supervision and oversight of billing representatives in daily operations to provide accurate and efficient services invoicing, revenue recognition/reporting, and related services contract database information. Responsibilities include oversee operations of assigned team; monthly invoicing for maintenance support, lease renewals, and fixed term installments; verify all newly added or updated contracts, assist with projects that enhance SAP based on business needs and working closely with other areas of Sales Finance to provide supporting backup as needed. Additional responsibilities include auditing invoice runs for Billing Representatives to ensure accuracy, and maintaining the integrity of databases.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in a financial environment, preferably in a service industry and or experience with federal contract invoicing, extensive knowledge of client invoicing processes and revenue recognition rules, experience with Billing and Revenue Financial Software applications, SAP is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment are also required. Experience writing and delivering employee performance reviews and interviewing are required and a Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
