Budget Analyst (BA)

Our client, a consulting firm is looking to expand and are currently looking for a Budget Analyst for their Arlington office.

Qualifications :
Required Skills: - Extensive knowledge of Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution System (PPBES) and related directives and regulations - Ability to analyze and develop financial policy and procedures - Recent US Government program and budget experience - Microsoft Access and Excel experience required - Must have strong communication analytical and interpersonal skills - Strong organizational skills and proven ability to work independently - Must have the ability to identify priorities and manage time efficiently - Ability to work effectively with all levels throughout a large organization - Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field - A minimum of 2 years financial analysis experience - Knowledge of applicable legislative, administrative and regulatory requirements (including the Government Performance and Results Act) - Ability to develop creative and innovative solutions to complex financial, budget, and program management issues that increase program effectiveness and customer service, while decreasing/maintaining unit cost - Ability to identify problems, provide leadership, and identify creative and innovative solutions to complex financial management systems development issues - Ability to acquire and analyze financial data and communicate the results to a diverse audience - Ability to prepare budget submissions according to prescribed format and specifications - Knowledge of and ability to use principles, methods, techniques, and systems of financial management to improve program effectiveness and customer service - Attainment of Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) designation helpful If interested please contact Bernadette Antkowiak at
