The City of Baltimore Bureau of the Budget and Management Research is seeking a Budget/Management Analyst III to assist in the performance of complex budget or management analysis, fiscal research and related work. This position has no supervisory responsibilities and reports to the Bureau?s Deputy Budget Director.

 

Responsibilities:

Reviews and analyzes complex agency budgets and makes appropriate recommendations regarding budget requests and presents assigned agency budget recommendations to City officials; makes presentations on complex and sensitive budget and management issues to senior level management, agency heads and elected officials; monitors assigned City agencies execution and conformance with authorized budgets by performing budget projections and conducting other analyses; compiles and provides data for elected officials on fiscal, governmental operations and related matters; and may assist in the administration and maintenance of the Bureau?s informational database.

 

Minimum Qualifications:A bachelor?s degree in business, public administration, public policy, economics, accounting, statistics, political science or operations research from an accredited college or university and

ANDFour years of experience in the analysis of budgets, management operations, government programs, statistics, economics, public policy, legislation or systems. A master?s degree in business, public administration, public policy, economics, accounting, statistics, political science or operations research from an accredited college or university.
