Budget Manager

We are searching for an Accountant/Analyst to support the Assistant Controller and Corporate Finance Team. Candidate must have solid communication & presentation skills to interface throughout all levels of the organization, including senior corporate personnel, operational and international management and staff. This position is based in our corporate office in NY City. What the Job Entails: • Consolidation of financial data on an IFRS and US GAAP basis monthly; • Preparation of the internal reporting and management presentations for Executive and Supervisory Board of Directors; • Compilation of financial information to support the Annual Reports and press releases, including footnote preparation, MD&A analysis and financial table preparation in both US GAAP and IFRS; • Analysis and compilation of annual budget and periodic forecasts; • Preparation of special purpose analyses and project support including significant participation in preparations for a US listing; • Development and implementation of creative solutions to drive improved quality, timeliness and control within the company’s financial processes;

Qualifications :
• A successful candidate will possess a strong desire to learn, be adaptive to new challenges and work well within a team environment; • College/University degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics; • Minimum of 2-5 years of financial reporting or relevant audit experience with a multinational, publicly traded company; • A working knowledge of financial reporting processes including financial and managerial accounting; • Knowledge of applicable accounting standards (US GAAP and/or IFRS); • Excellent communication and analytic skills; • CPA/CMA a plus though not required; • Familiarity with Hyperion Financial Management software a plus.
