Business Analyst - Project Manager

Your team is responsible for producing, analyzing and communicating accurate and objective regulatory, financial and management accounts. Your team is also responsible for the implementation and replacement of the legacy systems in Accounting US with new state-of-the-art technology.

Your job is to implement a new global, state-of-the-art accounting platform to replace the existing legacy systems. You analyze and implement support, including the accounting logic and set-up of mapping tables between local and global reference data and rules. You analyze the US-specific reporting requirements for internal management reports as well as the regulatory reporting requirements for UBS Broker Dealers, tax reporting, and internal performance reports. Additionally, you analyze business specifications for transferring data from legacy accounting platforms to the new platform. You ensure quality management, including planning, organizing, and supporting business testing as well as sign-off activities to ensure front-to-back quality controls along with tracking testing activities and progress. You ensure the quality of the solutions delivered and implemented. You define organizational set-up, determine training and education requirements, and support the related activities for going live.

Basic Qualifications
You are a strong project manager with a minimum of 3 years experience in an accounting role within financial services. You have solid analytical skills and a comprehensive understanding of bank accounting within a complex environment. You are knowledgeable of US reporting requirements for Broker/Dealers and possess strong technical knowledge (SQL, TestDirector).
