Business Analysts –Long Island, NY

Retail Bank Decision Management Business Analytics team is responsible for designing and developing custom data-driven analytics and technical solutions that challenge the status quo in the spirit of optimizing business results 

 

Responsibilities:Development, implementation, and management of data, reports and advanced analytic solutions. : universe sizing, customer segmentation, predictive modeling, program tracking and profitability modeling, test design and test brief preparations, etc.Works with large datasets on both mainframe and server environments using a wide rage of programming software / languages. Examples include JCL, SQL, NDM, Cognos, Oracle, SAS, etc.Work extensively with SAS tools to provide analytics solutions ranging from sampling, EDA, cluster analyses, logistic regressions, decision trees, etc.Develop recommendations from analytics that drive business results

 

Qualifications:Masters degree in quantitative field Minimum 1-3 years c experience, preferably in the financial industry.Must possess a strong understanding of statistical tools with hands-on SAS experience. Analytic experience including sampling, EDA, cluster analyses, logistic regressions, decision trees.Strong data management and manipulation skills with relational database, Cognos, Oracle, SAS & SAS Macros in mainframe, server and PC platforms.Expert in MS office, particularly Excel Macro and PowerPoint.Ability to leverage information into business decisions.

 

Salary: $80-100k
