Business valuation engagements involve the valuation of closely-held businesses or segments of public companies, and/or various assets and liabilities owned by these entities.? Our professionals provide these services for a variety of purposes, including financial reporting, gift and estate tax compliance, management planning, M&A activity, bankruptcy, and litigated disputes.? Traditional finance and accounting skill sets are combined with research and reporting capabilities for professionals with this focus.

We are currently looking for Business Valuation professionals to work in our Sterling Heights, Michigan office.? The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with demonstratable business valuation expertise.? Requirements for the position are:

?Minimum 8 years full-time experience in business valuation.? Experience with closely held businesses is a minimum requirement; experience with valuations for financial reporting purposes, fairness opinions, and transaction advisors services is a plusMust be detail orientated with excellent writing skills and interest in developing multiple direct reports.At least one of the following professional designations is required:? ABV, CFA, or ASA.Must have interest in and proven success in developing new business and work.Interest in strategic development of local and national practice necessary.Leadership skills and collaborative attitude required.
