CDF Collateral Specialist, TEC/CSHPI

Job Purpose
As a Collateral Specialist for Commercial Distribution Finance (CDF), you will be responsible for analyzing the collateral position of CDF customers using a variety of different measurements. The goal of this analysis is to ensure that the collateralizations are completed accurately, timely and in compliance with legal documentation.

Essential Functions

Ensure timely and accurate completion of all collateral measurements which may include equities, comparisons, borrowing base certificates and inventory testing or valuation

Monitor monthly inventory cycles and collateral trends and make recommendations for improvements

Serve as the primary back up to the Account Manager or Account Executive, working closely with that position to provide operational input

Monitor the portfolio to minimize loss exposure by ensuring each customer is in full compliance with their approved program

Recommend changes to the existing program where warranted

Drive activities and actions that promote the attainment of team goals and standards in a team environment

Assist the Account Manager or Account Executive with buyout procedures for new and existing customers

Qualifications/Requirements:
Basic Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent degree (GED) and a minimum of 2 years experience in a credit assessment position

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Ability to exercise independent judgment consistent with department guidelines

Ability to operate a personal computer

Qualitative, analytical and financial statement analysis skills
