CDF Credit Analyst, Motorsports

Job Purpose
As a Credit Analyst for Commercial Distribution Finance (CDF), you will perform credit analysis on current and potential customers (dealers and manufacturers). You will also be involved in growing the asset base of CDF while minimizing potential losses.

Essential Functions
Spread and analyze financial statements

Prepare and review credit reports, assess trades, insurance, filing, and legal documentation to issue credit line recommendations to the Credit Manager

Interface directly with customers to obtain needed information, resolve credit related issues, and minimize potential losses

Improve portfolio control and achieve goals in the timely follow-up of annual reviews, financial statements, credit file conditions, and operating conditions

Ensure the systematic collection and maintenance of current documentation and requirements for credit files

Promote the utilization of electronic capabilities to support sales and services

Qualifications/Requirements:
Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field (or a High School diploma/GED and at least 5 years experience doing financial analysis)

Specialized knowledge of Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) practices and procedures and knowledge of appropriate business law

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
