CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (CFO)

We are a location-aware social messaging platform which integrates popular social networking and instant messenger features together with geographic location and proximity.

Built on a custom protocol and server architecture, our technology has been designed to facilitate real-time meetings with people locally while also keeping tabs on your friends around the world.

We bridge the gap between online and offline interactions. While traditional instant messengers and web-based social networks have only helped users to connect with people as local as a city or state, we allows users to connect with their neighbors and people with similar interests.

We are looking for a CFO who has done an IPO or two or an M&A or two. You must be hip enough to ?get? Web 2.0. We are like MySpace or FaceBook with GPS.

You are someone who enjoys helping a young company grow and to provide ?adult supervision? to some brilliant, young technologists, living and working together in an apartment/office in Palo Alto.

We are looking for someone to work with us part time now and hopefully full time in the very near future.

This opportunity is not for everyone. We're looking for someone whose past success allows them to work without a paycheck for now, instead receiving equity in the company.
