This professional will provide consulting advisory services to our largest financial institutions (banks, investment banks and hedge funds) in the area of financial derivatives operations and middle office.?

2. Responsibilities:
?
*????????? Serve as project manager for securities operations consulting engagements at banking and other financial institutions firms.? Lead all aspects of the project, including the development of a project plan, staffing, assigning project responsibilities and managing the performance of all team members to meet project requirements.? Manage client expectations and interactions to maintain effective communications, client involvement and to ensure client satisfaction.

*????????? Originate consulting projects.? Maintain relationships with a large number of potential buyers at major banking and other financial institution
firms.? Position self and the firm for opportunities to propose on relevant consulting projects.? Lead the development of sales presentations and collateral material.? Make sales presentations.? Demonstrate effective closing abilities.
?
*????????? Thought leadership.? Develop the firm's eminence by demonstrating innovative thought leadership.? Demonstrate thought leadership through presentations to industry groups, participation in panel discussions, writing articles for trade journals, and through interactions with other leaders in the field.

Requirements:
?
?BA/BS required.? MBA preferred
?
Minimum 7 years work experience, preferably in a mix of management consulting and functional area (middle office, product control or operations areas) of a financial institution
?
Strong project management experience and skills including work plan development and management, staff oversight
Strong foundation knowledge of work flow processes and technology related to the
transacting, reporting and settlement of derivative instruments, fixed income securities and/or mortgage products
Deep knowledge of middle function and product control roles, responsibilities and processes including daily profit and loss reporting, P&L attribution, trading reserves calculation, settlement conventions for derivatives instruments

?Excellent oral and written communication skills are required, along with an executive presence, demonstrated ability to relate with C-suite executives both professionally and socially

Personal characteristics should include: strong sales, presentation, consulting, project management, client, and training / mentoring skills; proven ability to generate business; strong presence and good communications and interpersonal skills; experience in delivering services both assessing risk management capabilities as well as transforming bank risk management/operations environments

Experience with Sarbanes - Oxley, and FDICIA requirements and related programs a plus

An ability to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally (Up to 80% for extended periods
?
