The Global Energy Markets (GEM) group is a North American practice that provides a range of market operations, energy transacting, and risk management consulting services to leading organizations in the energy/utilities industry. The 120 professionals in this group are based primarily in New York, Toronto, Houston, Calgary, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco but serve clients across North America and Europe. Consulting services span risk strategy, enterprise risk and capital management, processes and infrastructure, treasury, quantitative, securitization, credit, risk assurance and advisory, and architecture/ technology.? Clients include system/market operators, regulatory agencies, integrated utilities, producers and wholesalers, and competitive retailers in electricity,
natural gas and oil sectors.

Description of Responsibilities:
- Candidate will work on complex data warehousing, reporting solutions, and business intelligence.?
- Data modeling identify data flows, mappings and translations.
- Develop logical data models.
- Work closely with clients to understand requirements, design and implement successful solutions.
- Be able to discuss different data warehousing philosophy and tools, both the pros and cons.

- Degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong work ethic with high desire to succeed. Team-oriented.
- Willingness to travel.
- Must have experience with data modeling, data architecture, business intelligence, and reporting solutions.
- Preferred technologies include Oracle, SQL Server, Microsoft Analysis& Reporting Server, Informatica, Cognos, Business Objects, Micro Strategies, and Crystal Reports
.
- Energy and/or Financial Services experience preferred.
