Our Global Energy Markets Group is seeking a senior manager to join our team of experienced and self-driven professionals serving the Energy Industry (i.e. utilities, transmission system operators, market operators, producers, power marketers, load serving entities, regulatory agencies).
?The qualified candidate should be proficient in most of the following subject matter areas:
- Physical energy trading/scheduling and/or settlements and reconciliation
- ISO/RTO market operations (bidding,
scheduling, settlements, transmission congestion management, energy and ancillary services)
- Internal controls related to the trade life cycle (including front, middle, and back office functions)
- Specific deregulated regional energy markets
- Regulatory issues affecting deregulated wholesale energy markets
- Fundamental analysis of physical energy markets
Specific roles of this position include refining and implementing a business plan, performing market research, and developing service offerings.? The senior manager will manage and lead engagements with multiple clients including utilities, transmission system operators, market operators, producers, power marketers, load serving entities, and regulatory agencies.? Travel to/from and work at client locations will be required.? In addition the senior manager must have experience with leading industry practices related to the trade life cycle in deregulated energy markets (including front, middle, and/or back office
functions).? As part the physical energy practice, this position will serve a variety of client companies in the energy industry, and have the opportunity to grow within the firm.
