Client Service Professional - Single Family

JOB SUMMARY  This position is responsible for the daily processing of incoming mortgage payments via wires and checks that are received from mortgage servicers.  This person will also be responsible for the weekly posting of interest on variable rate GIC issues to client’s accounts

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 

The Client Service Professional position reports Single Family Housing Team Leader and will be responsible for the following:

 

? Process incoming wires and checks for mortgage payments on Single Family Bond Issues.

? Process disbursements for requisitions.

? Balance incoming funds and principal balances with servicer’s reports.

? Track foreclosures and REO’s.

? Prepare release of mortgages.

? Imaging of all work.

? Manage contractual obligations utilizing our tickler system.

? Serve as backup to another Client Service Professional.

? Calculate, verify, and post variable rate GIC income.

? Take appropriate ownership of tasks and projects.

? Participate / coordinate special projects as assigned.

?  EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

? Must be extremely accurate, positive, conscientious, and detail oriented.

? Team player.

? Proven work ethic.

? Strong verbal and written skills.

? Excellent PC skills, high proficiency with spreadsheets.

? 3 years minimum experience in accounting.

? Trust and/or mortgage experience preferred.
