Our Carol Stream Facility has an opportunity for a Commercial Finance Manager.

 

This position will act as the financial co-pilot for the segment general manager and will focus on business accounting and financial analysis for the commercial segment.  The person in this position will analyze the financial statements for strategic management of the segment and work closely with plant controllers within the segment (i.e. Appliance segment, Water - HVAC segment).  This position will be responsible for financial analysis, strategic planning, annual operating budgets, forecasting, and variance analysis of the segment.  This role will also be involved in analyzing customer profitability, customer terms (rebates and discounts), and product line profitability, in addition to other analysis as needed.

 

Percentage of time likely to be allocated to the following areas:

50% Compliance - verify that the necessary procedures are followed, compliance with approval and authority levels as relating to customer con and reviews

50%  Reviewing vanriances and financials with sales and marketing segment leads

50%  Forecasting, budgets, strategic planning for the segment

 

 

Requirements and skills needed include:

Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Finance

CPA preferred

8 ? 12 years of experience in the accounting field

Experience with Hyperion HFM preferred

Skilled in microsoft suite - excel, office, powerpoint

Some knowledge of other business processes such as engineering, new product development, sales order funnel, product life-cycle and product pruning

Business writing capabilities, business communication and ability to communicate throughout all levels of the organization
