POSITION DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities include checking account guidelines against the daily trading activity using the newly implemented Automated Compliance Environment (ACE) compliance software. Position requires frequent interaction with Account and Portfolio Management as well as the Legal department on regulatory and guideline issues. Participate in various ad hoc projects as assigned (these tend to be research oriented, requiring the use of Business Objects). Candidate's prior experience will dictate whether initial focus will be in derivative, international, mortgage or corporate products.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Qualified candidate will possess a four-year college degree in accounting, business, finance or economics and/or equivalent work experience. Candidate must possess strong analytical ability and excellent attention to detail. Must have effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment is essential. Must be capable of managing multiple tasks with tight deadlines and possess strong problem solving ability. Intermediate working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, SMARTS and Bloomberg applications. Experience using BUM, MS Access, and MS Query/Business Objects a plus. If not already completed during the initial interview process, must complete the Trade Ticket Comparison and Compliance Assessments with a score of 90% or better.
