Contract Financial Analyst

Responsibilities:
Candidate will work closely with financial management in support of various government contracts. Responsibilities will include monthly reporting, client invoicing, validating contract expenditures, and preparing weekly profit analysis reports. May also assist in proposal preparation, contract negotiations and administration, and customer contract activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.

Experiences Requirements:
3 to 5 years experience with federal government contracts. Strong demonstrated knowledge of contract terms and conditions, including FAR/DFAR, government invoicing, and the ability to perform tasks without appreciable direction. Experience developing and providing contractual advice and analysis to ensure that the business achieves its financial objectives. Demonstrated ability to conduct timely negotiations resolve customer issues, and optimize cash flow in contract management and negotiations. Must have an understanding of cost structures, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure compliant reports are submitted to the customer.

Skills Required:
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required with MS Word. Experience in Deltek Costpoint is desirable. Candidate must be highly detail oriented.

Education Requirements:
B.A. or B.S. in accounting, business, or relevant degree
