Responsibilities of the Controller:

Essential duties and responsibilities of the position include the following:Prepare reports that summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expense, and earnings based on past, present and expected operations. Direct preparation of budgets and necessary tax filings. Coordinate the month-end and year-end closing process, including comparing the budget and outlook, ensuring accuracy and proper coding, managing currency exchange conversion process, consolidate financials of subsidiaries, and preparing the outlook for out-months. Arrange for audits of company's accounts. Manage capital expense request process. Support and assist offices in other countries with accounting-related issues.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

The qualified candidate should have exceptional communication skills as well as strong general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and income tax experience and should be willing to travel.  The qualified candidate should be proficient with the MS Office suite, especially in regards to the creation and management of spreadsheets.Other minimal qualifications include the following:

 Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university in Accounting of Finance. CPA certifications. 5-10 years of accounting experience. Proven supervisory experience.
