Controller, salary up to 95K with excellent benefits! (SKS)

My client is seeking a Controller, salary up to 95K, plus excellent benefits. My company is an established information technology and consulting firm, providing comprehensive, quality technology solutions, human resources and management consulting to the Federal Government and private sector. My company was ranked by Inc. 500 in the top 50 fastest growing private companies in the country last year. My company is headquartered in Montgomery County. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Manage all accounting functions including but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger. -Understand FAR’s, DCAA, incurred cost submission, audits and support tax preparation. -Establish, modify, and coordinate the implementation of policies, and procedures. -Prepare, analyze, and reconcile all financial statements and related reports including but not limited to balance sheets, income statements, cash-flow reports, budgets, and variance analysis. - Responsible for supervising all transactional activity related to the Company’s corporate accounting cycles. -Provide analysis and evaluation of business strategies. -Supervise monthly closing of books and monthly account reviews; prepare, analyze and reconciles monthly financial statements. -Manage all budget process activities; help forecast all company operational and financial aspects. -Provide management with timely reviews of organization's financial status and progress. -Train, supervise, motivate, and develop accounting and finance employees. -Manage schedules and workflow. -Provide day-to-day guidance and oversight of subordinates; actively work to promote and recognize performance. -Keep up to date on overall activities of the team, identifying problem areas and taking corrective actions.

Qualifications :
To be considered for this position you must have the following -Bachelor's Degree in Accounting -Proficiency in Word, Excel, Deltek Cost Point, and Impromptu. -7 years + in accounting field with at least 3 years as a manager -Working knowledge of forecasting and financial reporting. -Basic competence in duties and tasks of supervised employees. -Working knowledge of data collection, data analysis, evaluation, and scientific method. -Ability to work with all levels of management. -Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow. -Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm. -Proven leadership and business acumen skills To be considered for this position, please contact Sonya Singh - Robert Half International Recruiting Manager at 301.656.7121, ext. 50818 or forward an updated resume to
