Job Description

Direct the day to day financial operations for Accenture Learning. Position is focused on driving operational process efficiencies and improving operational execution which AL leadership will utilize to direct the organization.  Additionally, the role will continue to refine and enhance processes and accurate internal reporting and forecasting requirements.

 

Responsibilities:

 Work with the ALSS Operations leads and teams to execute the financial processes necessary for effectively running the organization.  Work with the Operations leads and CFM teams in executing the cost transfers to the engagements and internal Accenture client to insure the effective and efficient implementation of financial and business management disciplines. This includes maintaining current forecasts for anticipated transfers. Work with operation leads to ensure understanding of the financial principles inherent to AL regarding the transfer of costs.  Maintain and further develop the financial structurefunding sources for the internal Accenture client work including proper management of cost pool, training, and intellectual property funding. Maintain and refine the internal organization structure to meet financial and operational requirements for the organizational hierarchy and work structure. Act as a primary representative for AL finance in operational discussions with internal Accenture client. Assist in coordinating annual budget and quarterly forecast for the both organizations.   Prepare and analyze monthly reporting for a highly matrixed organization including group and client level reporting. Attain seemless interaction across the many internal financial organization of Accenture including CFM, Global BPO, Central Finance, Forecasting and Planning, GS Finance, Controllership, and ALSS finance.

 

Qualifications

 

Must-Have Skills/Qualifications:

 

- University/College Degree (preferably in Accounting or Finance with 9-12 Accounting credits) with a minimum overall GPA 3.0

- Working knowledge of business, finance, accounting fundamentals, including U.S.  GAAP

- 3-4 years prior financial experience

- Strong organizational & multi-tasking skills

- Strong analytical skills and thought processes

- Good oral and written communication skills

- Positive/enthusiastic attitude

 

Nice-to-Have Skills/Qualifications:

 

- SAP Experience

- Solid understanding of the Accenture Economic Model.

- Microsoft application experience including Excel and Access

 

Other Requirements (i.e., travel, overtime %):

Limited travel; OT during peak periods (5-10%)
