Job Description:

 

CFM managers work with client and engagement executives to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and perform various financial, work and contract management functions.  This includes defining financial management processes and reporting; trend and variance analysis;  and establishing key performance indicators and engagement metrics.  They manage the client financial management team on an engagement and work closely with the engagement partner to help maximize engagement profitability while complying with U.S. GAAP and adhering to quality standards and Accenture personnel policies.

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

Financial Management

 

?Conduct financial management planning: assist/prepare client business case and document Accenture business case.

?Define/establish internal and client financial processes: identify requirements, responsibilities, and develop financial reporting package.

?Establish engagement financial management tools: select tools and manage development and implementation, including processes to use the tools.

?Establish/manage engagement job account structure or chart of accounts.

?Manage Accenture expenses: establish and periodically re-evaluate expense budgets and guidelines.

?Manage billing process: review with Accenture management, submit and review bill with client, monitor client payment of bill. Complete Outsourcing revenue recognition and reconcile to client bill.

?Monitor job balance and manage the reconciliation process: match expenses paid to expenses incurred, chargeable expenses to client billings, and fees collected to client billings.

?Manage financial forecasting processes.

?Manage capital budgeting process including asset acquisition and depreciation.

?Manage engagement level balance sheet and related accruals.

?Manage financial reporting: internal and client reporting.

?Conduct ad hoc reporting.

?Price new/potential arrangements: work with Corporate Transaction Services (CTS), when appropriate.

?As necessary, complete financial transition of Outsourcing units with guidance and support from CFM Transition Team.

?Ensure compliance to Accenture financial policies and procedures.

?Manage engagement shutdown activities.

?Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP Work Management

?Create CFM workplan:  determine engagement management approach and estimate effort.

?Define the scope of CFM involvement in the engagement, identify the required skill sets and obtain staffing through CFM PeopleMatters schedulers.

?Establish engagement reporting architecture: engagement reporting, reconciliation processes, etc. and ensure adherence to contractual processes.

?Establish an Accenture time reporting and audit process.

?Develop and manage a work forecasting process: define requirements and determine forecasting procedures.

?Participate in selection of a work management toolset.

 

Qualifications

Education: Undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in Finance or Accounting

Recommended Certifications, Licenses, etc: 

Work Experience: 7+ years professional experience recommended; advanced degree a plus

Work Requirements: Ability to commute to and between client sites; ability to travel and work out of town for extended periods of time, as required
