Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions Associate

GENERAL LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY

Works under supervision of an M&A Manager to assist with the analysis and valuation of potential acquisition, divestiture, partnership and investment transaction opportunities for the Firm's various lines of business. Prepares analysis of other non-deal related activities and ad-hoc financial analysis to support Corporate and Firm-wide strategic projects.

 

TYPICAL JOB DUTIES

Key responsibilities include: 1. analysis and valuation of potential transactions 2. monitor, evaluate and maintain current events, valuation and other financial information on selected institutions and product portfolios 3. create, maintain and review financial models and analysis 4. assist in creation of company profiles and other presentations




A qualified candidate should have the following:


1. Analysis, valuation and transaction experience in due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, or capital markets (typically 4-6 years experience)


2. Knowledge of financial services businesses and products


3. Undergraduate Degree in Accounting/Finance or a Master of Business Administration
