Credit Analyst, New Accounts

Review new customer applications for completeness
New credit application processing including but not limited to obtaining D&B data, TransUnion data, bank and/or trade references
Ensure accuracy of data entry and scoring of accounts data
Small dollar account underwriting
Credit approvals and decision-making within given authority
Customer notification of underwriting decision
Updating customer records
Perform special projects and other job-related duties as required

Experience or Equivalent:

1-2 years credit experience
Analytical and negotiation skills required
Knowledge of and experience with credit policies desirable
Ability to operate in a high-volume department with maximum efficiency
Understanding of credit scoring
Effective verbal and written communication skills desirable

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements: The position requires attention to detail, an ability to review a large quantity of information and identify key points, and the capability to manage deadlines.
