Credit Risk Analyst

Description:
Responsibilities

o Support the determination of Allowance for Loan Losses. This includes obtaining an
understanding of the ALLL model, preparing analysis and supporting schedules. Maintenance of
specific ALLL tables used for system.
o Collect data and run related systems in support of the calculation.
o Identify any unusual movement in the credit quality information and ensures the calculation
and reporting accurately reflects the risk inherent in the portfolio.
o Provide support for special projects such as acquisitions, system conversions and corporate
business initiatives.


Other
This position requires a strong mix of excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical and project management skills.
o Normally requires a master's degree or advanced certification such as a CPA or CFA.
o 5+ years experience in banking including exposure to balance sheet. Experience in
financial reporting and analysis preferred.
o Good computer skills such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and MS Access with the
aptitude to learn other systems.
o Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
o High degree of intellectual curiosity.
o Proven strong analytical skills and process orientation.
o Demonstrated workload management skills with ability to get engaged in multiple complex
assignments and meet tight deadlines.
o Attention to detail is critical.
o Team and customer service oriented. The ability to build strong working relationships with
customers and peers. Flexible, willing to assist where needed.
