Credit Specialist - Lending Products

This position is part of the Lending Products Department within the Wealth Management International division. The role is to provide day-to-day support on all matters relating to Credit. Individual will work with Client Advisors of all levels to ensure growth of the credit book. This is primarily a marketing and product management role.

Responsibilities:
- Market/promote the capabilities of the UBS Lending Product platform to Client Advisors.
-Provide support to WMI client facing units with credit transactions.
- Provide local/regional support in the the development of new products and services within the Lending Products unit.
- Know the bank's lending product offering.
- Understand the credit process.
- Assist Client Advisors with varying degrees of credit knowledge to offer credit to their clients.
- Develop and present generic and customized leveraging illustrations.
- Attend client meetings.
- Deliver one-on-one as well as classroom training sessions.
- Publish success stories.
- Provide Lending Products head with support in the development of new products and services within WMI Lending Products area.

Must be a confident speaker and comfortable giving presentations to employees at all levels.

Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years in a lending products or client facing role related to lending, preferably with a major Corporate or Investment Bank.
- Participation in a recognized bank's formal credit analysis program.
- Experience interfacing with Client Advisors and clients regarding credit issues.
- Corporate and structured financing skills including understanding of legal and tax issues/requirements.
- Knowledge of the derivative markets and risk measurement controls.
- Must have strong negotiating skills, strong/effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese a plus.
- Bachelor's degree.
