We are currently seeking a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to join our office located in Chicago, IL.

DIRECTOR OF FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS - Chicago, IL

Responsibilities:
Oversight and responsibility for Management Information Reporting including, production of Monthly Dashboard/Operating report and Quarterly Operating Review packages for both Americas and Global Senior Management teams narrating the performance of the business
Oversight and coordination of the budgeting and forecasting process, position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operation Officer, including redefinition of the processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Work with PeopleSoft team to build BPS/create ledgers
Regular communications to Finance Team/Senior Leaders
Create Final Total Americas reporting package to report reforecast or budget results
Create standardized reporting that will enable the Business Unit Controllers to submit a consistent package related to the plan and reforecast
Perform various analysis and financial work related to merger and acquisition work
Communicate with Global Firm Management on all issues of concern or opportunity on a monthly/quarterly basis; includes, but is not limited to Quarterly Statistical Reporting, reconciliation questions related to Hyperion vs. PeopleSoft and other monthly operational clarifications
Directly supervise, coach and develop one Analyst
Own and ultimately responsible for helping the Business Service Units determine strategies and achieve their subsequent plan and reforecast
Provide Coaching and Feedback to the newly appointed Business Service Unit Accounting Controller and his team
Assume any responsibility for coordination of the Strategic Planning Sessions
Aid the Americas Controller in completing follow-up of action items that arise from Sarbaines-Oxley Audits


Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in related field
Minimum of 5-10 years finance experience
Excellent analytical skills with experience in forecasting for global or international companies
Strong sense of business acumen with an ability to think creatively and strategically to enhance processes and overcome issues
Experience managing a broad group of people
Excellent organization and project management skills; including experience in managing deadlines and heavy volume periods
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Computer proficiency
