DSD Analyst II

Retail and Cost Maintenance of DSD in the Vendor Portal utilizing pricing surveys.
Promotional Cost verification in the DSD Tool and communication with vendors to insure proper entry of promotional costs and retails in a timely fashion.
Analyze DSD category and item performance, including sales, margin, markdowns, etc.
Provide actionable analysis with recommendations for next steps and how to interpret the data.
Identify potential issues and opportunities within the current DSD processes through analysis performed.
Point person for supporting the FMM?s with day-to-day business issues.
Ensure the integrity of procedures and processes within the DSD team (category management, FMMs, field operators, etc.) following authorized procedures and policies.
Perform lead role in Problem Resolution of all DSD Item-related issues to ensure an effective and timely resolution.
Participate in projects to support process improvement and system enhancements including development of requirements, user acceptance testing, documentation and training.
Communication of information relating to DSD issues and promotions to the appropriate Team, FMM, Vendor and Operations


Requirements:


Three to five years experience in a business analyst role, in a retail environment.
Bachelor?s degree with Mathematical Aptitude, appropriate experience in retail DSD analysis also acceptable.
Proficient in Excel, Access, Category Map and Microsoft Word.
Person must be capable of thinking independently and ?out of the box? to solve problems and develop recommended solutions and provide actionable data, with little direction to meet required deadlines.
Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and professionally (verbal & written) with all levels of Store Support and field management, as well as vendors.
