Data Steward

SAGE Publications, a privately owned, multi-national leading academic and professional publisher of books, journals, and electronic media, located in Thousand Oaks, California, with offices in London and India, is currently seeking a Data Steward for SAGE's Marketing & Sales Marketing Systems Department. The Data Steward will play an integral role in redefining / improving overall analytic capabilities of the organization by ensuring that customer information is accurate and robust. The position will be responsible for implementing and maintaining business, regulatory, and data rules that will drive consistent, accurate and reliable data stored in data marts across the organization. 

 

Qualifications:

Two years experience in a complex customer database environment with computer literacy including expert level knowledge of PC spreadsheets and working knowledge of database software; SQL language preferred. Must be able to work in a team environment. Excellent organizational skills as well as oral and written communication skills.
