Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Director, Global TV Distribution Financial Planning & Analysis

The Director's primary responsibility will be coordination and management of all FP& A activities for both Domestic and International TV Distribution, as well a Domestic Broadcast Syndication. Effort will be in support of Global distribution, working closely with both the Domestic and International finance teams to ensure that the operations are seamless and that all analysis and reporting is accurate and timely.

Coordination and consolidation of the World Wide Distribution three-year strategic plan and annual operating plan, as well as all quarterly closes and re-forecasts throughout the calendar year
Participation in extensive process development and improvement as group migrates to single G/L platform and undergoes reorganization to establish full financial accountability within single unit
Creation of all planning and forecasting presentations to TV and NBCU Group finance
Leadership for the coordination of the quarterly close procedures, plus responsibility for all required close analysis and reporting
Review and approval of variance analysis of Actual vs Annual Plan and other forecasts
Execution and completion as necessary of ad hoc reports, analysis and special projects

Qualifications/Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance Minimum 7 years of experience in Accounting and/or Finance.
Strong computer skills, primarily SAP, Peoplesoft, Excel and PowerPoint
