Shell Trading Services Company is currently seeking a Director/Manager Asset Origination for its San Diego, California location.

Responsibilities:
In this position, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining asset owner relationships leading to short and long term gas and electric asset opportunities.
 
Key Accountabilities Include:
- Working with team of originators, trading, structuring, marketing and risk management personnel to define and develop strategies, products and pricing
- Developing, negotiating and closing transactions
- Working on teams where you may be a team member or a team leader

Requirements:
To be considered for this position, you must possess a Bachelor?s Degree in business, economics, finance, engineering or an equivalent combination of experience and education and approximately 5+ years experience in gas or power trading and structuring.
 
Additional Requirements:
- Knowledgeable in the use of financial tools in structuring transactions and managing risk
- Specific experience in the western U.S. gas and power markets
- Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
- Extensive spreadsheet and database management skills
