Director of Finance (RF)

The Finance Manager is a highly qualified individual who is able to assist in leading the company into the next phase of growth and development. The Finance Manager has strong financial skills, excellent communication skills, and proven experience as a leader with other similar companies. The Finance Manager reports to the Chief Financial Officer. Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following key areas: Financial Management • Assist the financial planning, forecasting, and projections of revenues and expenses; • Conduct financial reporting, monitoring, and analysis; • Assist in monitoring and preservation of profitability of organization; • Supervise group and accounting areas, including:  Project accounting;  Accounts receivable & collections;  Accounts payable & vendor relations;  General Ledger analysis;  Bank reconciliation’s; and  Reporting; • Understand and fully represent the company’s policies and procedures; • Assist in management of cash and collections, including:  Managing cashing needs for vendors, staff, taxes, etc; and  Managing line of credit to minimize interest and back charges; • Develop and monitor budgets; • Monitor companies indirect rates and structures; • Assist in the preparation of indirect costs proposal submissions for the establishment of provisional and final rates; • Assist in Year-end-closing and reporting for organization; • Assist in preparation for audit and interface with auditor(s)—independent and Federal audits; • Prepare timely financial reports, including:  Project/Financial reports by 15th of each month; and  Quarterly project meetings with management; • Facilitate weekly finance meetings with CFO and as needed with other staff; • Maintain integrity of DELTEK financial reporting software and system; • Assist in the development & maintenance of accounting and operational Policies and Procedures; • Serve as leader in the continued development, training, and mentorship of finance staff; and • Work in conjunction with CFO on all contract administration requirements to ensure conformity to all Federal Regulations. Management • Assist in the development and preparation of cost/business proposals; • Participate in program development efforts; and • Manage finance team and day-to-day financial operations of the organization. Human Resources and Operations • Assist in development of financial and contractual training programs for staff; • Actively participate in training and orientation of new employees; and • Monitor and update ESI’s Finance Policies.
