Director of Financial Planning

 

This role involves close collaboration with finance leadership in each of Powerwave Technologies, Inc. business units and corporate functions in order to drive the annual and long term planning processes throughout the company. You will oversee the development of financial models and analysis schedules, preparing summary information to support decision-making by senior executives and the board of directors. You will be a key part of the Corporate Finance team, supporting and consulting on financial risks, opportunities, issues and strategies. Specifically, the primary responsibilities for the position will include:

 Annual and long-term financial planningAnalysis of quarterly forecasts and actual resultsManagement reportingOversight of overhead, headcount and capital budgetingAd hoc presentations and analyses for senior executivesProvide the leadership to improve financial processes and develop personnel

 

The candidate for this position will be a seasoned finance professional with at least ten to twelve years of financial, strategic and business management experience. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, business acumen and broad financial technical expertise. Candidates should have the stature and experience to step into this role and immediately gain credibility and respect within the company. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills with a team-oriented and consensus-based management style.
